Biscotti is the perfect cookie for dunking in coffee, tea or wine. A staple of Italian kitchens for generations, join Certified Executive Chef and Slow Food Southern Arizona President Barry Infuso for a fun morning preparing this twice-baked treat.

We’ll start by sampling the finished almond biscotti, then see how the cookies look after the first bake and while in the oven for the final step, you’ll make and shape your dough to take home to bake now or freeze for later. There will be plenty to keep or share – the recipe makes 12 dozen! Chef Barry will also demonstrate decorating options.

CLASS NOTES: The in-person class, limited to 16, will be held at the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance (SAACA) CATALYST Teaching Kitchen at the Tucson Mall, 4500 N. Oracle Rd., Suite 110. You’ll receive an email with class details (everything you’ll need will be provided) 3 days in advance. Please use an email address you frequently check. Our emails can get caught in spam filters or blocked entirely. Please contact us if you don’t receive the class information.

All classes, workshops and events are nonrefundable. You can request a transfer to a different class or event up to 7 days prior to the class or event. Culinary Boot Camps or workshops require a 14-day notification. Your request must be emailed to flyingapronstucson@gmail.com.
